Common Bond Association

Philosophy

We believe addictions are chronic and progressive and recovery is possible at any point in the lifecycle of the disease. Our philosophy is to combine treatment of the mind, body, and spirit with education and skills development, memorable care and practicing well established therapeutic models. Each client has the opportunity to embrace our mind, body, and spirit approach to support their lifelong journey in recovery. Through this approach, Common Bond Recovery’s (CBRC) treatment programs offer hope to those struggling with devastating consequences of chemical dependency. Our comprehensive long-term residential treatment services are based on the beliefs that:

  1. Abstinence from alcohol and mind-altering drugs must be maintained in order to appropriately treat clients.
  2. Recovery must be an ongoing process, taking into account each aspect of life that is altered by alcohol and drug use. We emphasize treatment of physical, emotional, spiritual, and family aspects of addiction and alcoholism.

Treatment at CBRC is the beginning of a new life. We provide the necessary exposure to recovery principles and work at removing barriers that may prevent acceptance of those principles. This is accomplished in a warm, peer-oriented environment, guided by compassionate, professional staff.

Addiction and alcoholism are chronic, fatal diseases. Due to their devastating impact on all facets of life, we offer several levels of care. Staff and program participants work together as a team to develop individualized to treatment plans that treat the whole person –mind, body, and spirit. Team-based treatment and aftercare planning, exposure to 12 step programs, and the local recovery community are integral parts of our curriculum.

Building a strong network of support is essential for recovering addicts and alcoholics to maintain sobriety and growth in recovery. Common Bond Recovery Center recognized this, and in response offers lifetime aftercare program to help keep clients involved in recovery.

Many staff members have personal experience with drug and alcohol addiction and are active in their own recovery. They, more than anyone, know what our clients are going through and are in a position to offer the proper guidance, treatment, and support. Every single member of our rehab center’s clinical team is committed to providing the highest quality care available.
